Lines & Wrinkles Consultation
A fine lines treatment consultation is the first step in understanding your concerns and discussing the options that may be appropriate for you. During your appointment, your facial movement, areas of concern and medical history can be reviewed before any treatment decision is made. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, understand potential risks and side effects and receive information relevant to your individual circumstances. If treatment is considered suitable, the next steps can then be developed based on the clinical assessment and prescription provided by a registered prescriber.
Consultation-based assessment and individualised planning
Your consultation allows your goals and circumstances to be considered before a treatment plan is discussed.
Performed by a qualified Registered Nurse
Where treatment is considered appropriate and prescribed, the procedure is performed by a qualified Registered Nurse in accordance with the treatment plan.
Personalised approach to address movement-related concerns
Your facial movement and areas of concern are assessed individually to help inform the options discussed during your consultation.
Treatment FAQs
Who prescribes the treatment?
A registered medical practitioner provides the prescription after a telehealth or in-person consultation. A new consultation is required each time a prescription is issued.
Who performs the procedure?
All treatments are performed by a Registered Nurse in line with the prescription and clinical guidelines. They will also provide guidance on what to expect following your appointment.
Downtime?
Minimal; mild redness or swelling may occur. Individual responses vary.
What happens after consultation?
After your fine lines treatment consultation, you should have a clear understanding of your suitability, the proposed plan, potential risks and side effects and the next steps if you choose to proceed. Any required appointments can then be arranged. If facial volume is a greater consideration, your practitioner may discuss other suitable options, such as Revolumisation.
